About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Roofing Project Manager to oversee roofing projects from planning through completion. The Roofing Project Manager will be responsible for scheduling, budgeting, coordinating crews and subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the company, clients, suppliers, and field teams.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple roofing projects simultaneously from pre-construction to final inspection
Plan project timelines, labor needs, materials, and equipment
Coordinate and supervise roofing crews and subcontractors
Review contracts, scopes of work, and change orders
Ensure all projects comply with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns
Order materials and manage vendor relationships
Track project costs, approve invoices, and manage budgets
Resolve on-site issues, delays, and conflicts efficiently
Complete project documentation, closeouts, and warranty paperwork
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in roofing or construction
Strong knowledge of roofing systems (shingle, metal, slate, modified bitumen, etc.)
Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and contracts
Excellent leadership, organization, and time-management skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
Preferred Qualifications:
Construction or Project Management degree or equivalent experience
Experience with residential and/or commercial roofing projects
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk job sites and climb ladders as needed
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
