About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in construction estimating specifically in roofing and cladding, project management, and negotiation skills. Experience with take-off softwares.
Requirements
Responsibilities
Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to determine project scope and requirements
Utilize Construction estimating software to create detailed estimates
Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project
Prepare comprehensive bid proposals for submission
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction estimating
Strong analytical and mathematical skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
Project management experience is a plus
